I am fully qualified & experienced in offering RLD & I use this form of reflexology on many clients with a variety of health problems, both cancer & non-cancer related.
RLD is a well researched & effective form of reflexology devised by Sally Kay, a multi award winning reflexologist. Sally adapted the well known massage version of Lymphatic drainage into a reflexology version & has taught many reflexologists how to use it to support their clients with Lymphedema following lymph node removal.
Clinical experience and further evidence from a growing body of case studies suggests RLD may be useful for clients with non-cancer related, auto-immune disorders, e.g., Rheumatoid arthritis, Fibromyalgia, allergies, migraine and many other inflammatory conditions. On the strength of the findings of RLD research projects and case studies, plans are already in place for further research.
